Arsenal's Brazilian star Gabriel gets tearful as they join Southampton, Manchester United and West Ham in tribute to Chapecoense crash victims

Arsenal's Brazilian star Gabriel was clearly emotional as he paid his respects to the Chapecoense footballers, staff and journalists who tragically perished in a plane crash on Monday evening.

Seventy-one people, including the vast majority of the up-and-coming top-flight Brazilian side, were killed when a plane crashed in the hills outside the Colombian city of Medellin.

Arsenal, Southampton, Manchester United and West Ham all paid their respects before their respective League Cup quarter-final clashes on Wednesday night while PSG, Angers, Real Madrid and Cultural Leonesa also held tributes before their games across Europe.
