Arsenal starlet Nathan Tormey is aiming to overcome his injury hell to impress after signing his first professional contract with the Premier League club.
The 17-year-old – a graduate of the Gunners’ Hale End academy – was largely sidelined last season but is back fighting fit.
Having been in Germany for pre-season with the Under-18s and put pen to paper on a deal, he is aiming to progress through the ranks at Arsenal.
The next step for Tormey, who turns 18 in May, is the Under-23 squad and the aim inside Arsenal is to have him there by Christmas.
