Arsenal have been told that they will struggle to sign Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk in January with the two clubs failing to agree on a fee for the winger.
Mudryk has made no secret of his desire to join the Premier League leaders in the current window, but Arsenal have already seen a bid for £52m and a further bid of £65m rejected by the Ukrainian club.
Graham Potter's Chelsea have also joined the race to sign the the highly-touted 21-year-old, but any successful bid would reportedly need to be closer to Shakhtar's £88m valuation.
