Arsenal reportedly failed in their bid to recruit Bordeaux winger Malcom during the January transfer window and had a substantial bid for the player rejected. Elsewhere, Lyon are understood to have placed a £62.5 million price tag on alleged Gunners target Willem Geubbels.
Among the clubs linked with a winter move for Malcom were Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich, and German newspaper Bild has reported the former offered €42 million (£37.5 million) for his services (h/t Charles Watts of Football.London).
Malcom has scored eight goals and crafted six assists in 25 Ligue 1 appearances this season, and Bordeaux are understood to be chasing a €60 million payday in order to cash in, with only €10 million of that in add-ons.
