Monaco defender Marcel Tisserand is on the verge of completing a move to Ingolstadt after Arsenal ended their interest.
The 23-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Toulouse, has been linked with several clubs this summer.
They have included Premier League pair Arsenal and Everton, Spanish duo Espanyol and Real Betis - while St Etienne reportedly wanted to keep the DR Congo international in France.
However, according to RMC, Tisserand is actually on his way to Germany after agreeing to join Ingolstadt.
The centre-back, who can also operate at right-back, had been keen on a move to England and Arsenal was his preferred destination.
