Arsenal have received an early summer transfer blow after RB Leipzig's managing director confirmed midfielder Christopher Nkunku will remain with them next season.
The 24-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Gunners over the past 12 months with Mikel Arteta keen to strengthen his midfield options.
But Manchester City reportedly made an enquiry in November for the Frenchman - who also operates as a winger - while Real Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain were all said to be keen.

However, Leipzig chief Oliver Mintzlaff has revealed the Bundesliga outfit have no intention of selling the former PSG star in the summer, and is keen to see Nkunku continue his development at the club alongside Dani Olmo and Andre Silva.
