Arsenal have question marks over the fitness of striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after he returned from international duty early following an injury scare.
Aubameyang, 32, finished Gabon's win over Libya on Friday by leaving on a stretcher, raising concerns for Arsenal ahead of Saturday's trip to Liverpool.
The Gabon FA confirmed Aubameyang is not part of the squad currently and has since returned to London.
Aubameyang's Gabon team-mate, Bruno Manga, reportedly said in quotes carried by Metro: 'Aubameyang will miss the game due to injury, and the Egyptian national team is strong, it's enough to say that they have Mohamed Salah, it will be a difficult match.
