Gabriel Martinelli says he intends to become an Arsenal 'legend' by winning 'the Champions League and lots of domestic titles'.
The Brazilian has exceeded expectations since arriving at the Emirates Stadium from Ituano last summer in a deal worth £6million, providing 10 goals and four assists in 26 appearances.
It had been anticipated that the 18-year-old would spend the 2019-20 campaign playing development football in the Gunners' under-23s team, but he made a valuable contribution to the first team under former manager Unai Emery.
Martinelli has made extensive progress since registering his first Gunners goals in the 5-0 Carabao Cup win over Nottingham Forest in September, and now he has set his sights on lifting trophies.
