Arsenal have offered to triple the wages that Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey currently earns in order to bring the Ghanaian to the Premier League, according to reports in Spain.
The Gunners are the reported frontrunners to secure the transfer of the 27-year-old - who has a £45m release clause in his contract at the Wanda Metropolitano - this summer.
But despite Diario AS's claims that the north London side could vastly improve his wages, the same outlet reports that Napoli are hot on their heels.
The report adds the Serie A side are willing to offer Poland international Arkadiusz Milik - who was linked with a January transfer to Tottenham - in a player-exchange deal.
