Arsenal are ready to offer Atletico Madrid Alexandre Lacazette to Atletico Madrid in order to seal a transfer for Thomas Partey, according to reports.
The £50million rated Ghanian international is thought to be Arteta's No 1 target this summer with the club desperate for a defensive midfielder.
And according to The Sun, the Gunners are willing to offer Lacazette as part of an exchange deal to bring down the transfer fee.
Partey has been a key figure for the Spaniards this season and was particularly impressive in the club's Champions League victory over Liverpool.
