Arsenal have handed a senior debut to teenage wonderkid Charles Sagoe Jnr in their third round Carabao Cup tie against Brentford.
The 19-year-old was given his first-team bow by Mikel Arteta for the cup clash as the Gunners made a host of changes while attempting to balance Premier League and Champions League responsibilities.
Former Arsenal greats Cesc Fabregas and Ashley Cole made their debuts in the League Cup, with Sagoe Jr hoping to use the opportunity to make a claim for a regular place in the first-team.
