Arsenal 'love' Philippe Coutinho and their move to sign him on loan is now at an 'advanced' stage as Barcelona attempt to ship out unwanted stars to the Premier League in bid to raise cash

Arsenal's loan pursuit of Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho is at an advanced stage, according to reports in Spain.

Barcelona are desperately looking to offload Coutinho - currently on loan at Bayern Munich, but who will not sign him permanently - after his struggles at the Nou Camp following his £145million deal from Liverpool in January 2018.

And according to Spanish publication Sport, Coutinho's loan move to Arsenal is drawing ever closer - claiming the Gunners 'love' the Brazilian midfielder.

Coutinho's agent, Kia Joorabchian, is having an ever-growing influence at the Emirates having already brought David Luiz and Cedric Soares to the club, while also looking to get another one of his clients, Willian, over the line from Chelsea.
