Arsenal lose third coach to Wolfsburg as Jan van Loon follows Andries Jonker and Freddie Ljungberg to Germany

Arsenal have lost highly-rated academy coach Jan van Loon to Wolfsburg.

The Dutchman has joined Andries Jonker at the German club, having worked together at the Emirates.

Van Loon worked closely with Arsenal's Under 15s and held the title of head of individual player development.

Jan van Loon has become the latest Arsenal coach to leave the Gunners for Wolfsburg

But he has followed Jonker to the Bundesliga when he will work with the first team.

Jonkier also took former Arsenal midfielder Freddie Ljungberg - who was also an academy coach at the Gunners - with him to Wolfsburg when he left in February.
