Nuno Tavares has reportedly been 'invited' by Olympique Marseille bosses 'to make a donation to the team's end-of-season meal' as a repercussion for his sending off during their 2-1 win against Montpellier.
The Arsenal loanee gave Marseille the lead on the 47th minute of the match, but soon went from hero to zero, after he kicked out at Montpellier defender Arnaud Souquet reducing the away side to 10 men, just three minutes from the final whistle.
Montpellier came back to halve the lead in the 91st minute from a spot kick, yet Olympique held out to claim the three points in what was a nervy end to the match.
