Arsenal legend Ian Wright has been selected as part of a panel of experts to support a major review into women’s football.
The review was launched in September by the Government following Tracey Crouch MP’s fan-led review of football governance which recommended a further inquiry dedicated to examining the issues facing the women’s game at all levels – with a view to boosting participation and enhancing commercial opportunities.
Former England and Great Britain midfielder Karen Carney was commissioned to chair the review and says she is excited to be part of a project which she hopes will continue to push the women’s game in an upwards direction.
