Arsenal legend Arsene Wenger tells Harry Kane to STAY at Tottenham because they 'are in a position to be ambitious', despite calls from Roy Keane and Jermain Defoe for England captain to quit Spurs in his bid to win trophies

Arsene Wenger claims Tottenham can be in a position to offer Harry Kane the ambition he needs after the England captain's future at Spurs was put into doubt last week.

Kane scored yet another goal for England against Albania on Sunday to take his international tally to 33 goals in 52 Three Lions matches and several football figures have claimed the 27-year-old needs to leave Spurs to fulfil his career ambitions.

Roy Keane, Jermain Defoe and Jamie Redknapp have all hinted that failure to win a trophy this season or finish in the top-four could spark Kane's departure, but former Arsenal manager Wenger believes Spurs can still give Kane the platform he needs to achieve his goals.
