Recently Emirates Stadium played host to Extra Time, in partnership between Music Fatherhood Football, LBI and Arsenal in the Community, which saw 100 local dads attend from a range of ages and backgrounds.
This marked the second version of the event at the stadium, providing a safe space for dads to discuss and share any parenthood-related issues with other fathers and recognise that they are not alone in any challenges they face. Topics that were discussed included, what is the modern dad, as well as mental health and wellbeing for fathers.
Fathers can often face feelings of self-doubt, loneliness and isolation, with Extra Time providing a platform to find solidarity amongst others facing similar challenges.
