Michael Ballack has urged Arsenal to forget about the past and believe in themselves ahead of the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.
Arsene Wenger's side face the Bundesliga giants on Wednesday night desperate to end their run of six straight Champions League exits at the last-16 stage, most recently against Barcelona.
Bayern dumped Arsenal out of the competition on away goals in 2013 and again in 2014, winning 3-1 on aggregate.
