Arsenal have reportedly yet to agree an extension to Cedric Soares' loan deal from Southampton which could see him leave without playing a single game for the club.
The Portuguese right-back's short-term deal expires at the end of this month after he arrived as cover for Hector Bellerin in a £5million loan move in January.
He is fit again after arriving at the Emirates with a knee injury, but he has not played any part in Arsenal's two behind-closed-doors friendlies against Charlton or Brentford this week.
He was forced to miss both games after suffering a facial injury from being hit by a ball during training, which caused severe swelling around his nose and left eye.
