The Gunners have progressed to the semi-finals of Europe's seconday continental competition with relative ease, and Arsene Wenger will be hoping to win his first ever European honour in his final season in north London.
However, Diego Simeone's fearsome side stand in their way, with a squad including the likes of Antoine Griezmann, Koke and Saul considered favourites for the trophy.
There is some good news for Arsenal, though, as their nemesis, Diego Costa, is unavailable for the first leg due to a hamstring problem.
