Arsenal 'eyeing up £50m move for Valencia striker Rodrigo Moreno' as replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if star forward leaves the Emirates

Arsenal are reportedly considering a £50m swoop for Valencia forward Rodrigo Moreno this summer, should captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leave the club.

Rodrigo, who has progressed into one of La Liga's most proven marksmen in recent years, has a £110m buyout clause at Valencia but could be allowed to leave for less than half of that figure.

The report in The Mirror details that Valencia owner Peter Lim could let the 29-year-old leave the Mestalla, especially given the economic ramifications of the coronavirus crisis for football clubs.
