Arsenal director Josh Kroenke has admitted the club is not in a position to challenge for top honours as he responded to fan protests which called on those at the top to show they cared.
The 39-year-old, the son of the club's owner Stan Kroenke, said he and his father care and recognise the fans' frustrations.
It came after 16 supporter groups challenged the club to improve on and off the pitch with Arsenal preparing for a third successive season in the Europa League.
But while Kroenke said he respected the 'passion' of the fans, he was also frank about the situation the club finds itself in.
