Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney set for several weeks on the sidelines after suffering knee injury against Liverpool in second blow to manager Mikel Arteta's defence following David Luiz's minor surgery

Arsenal fear Kieran Tierney will be out for a number of weeks with a knee injury — but David Luiz is expected to play again this season despite having knee surgery on Sunday.

Tierney was forced off in the first half of the 3-0 defeat by Liverpool on Saturday after hurting himself in a clash with James Milner.

Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed: ‘He felt something in his knee and he was in pain.’
