Arsenal 'consider re-signing Donyell Malen from PSV Eindhoven' but Gunners would have to pay £48m for player they let go for £500k in 2017

Arsenal 'are considering re-signing PSV Eindhoven striker Donyell Malen for £48million' as they look for a long-term replacement for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The 21-year-old Holland international was in Arsenal's academy for two years between 2015 and 2017, playing for the Gunners' first team in various pre-season matches.

But Arsenal sold Malen to Dutch club PSV for just £500,000 and he has since made big strides in realising his potential in the Eredivisie.
