Arsenal chief reveals discussions over upgrading the Emirates have taken place - and the stadium's 60,000 capacity COULD be increased

Arsenal's owners have revealed they've opened discussions around upgrading their home stadium, the Emirates.

The club's co-chair, Josh Kroenke has said there have been 'internal discussions' about renovations to the stadium.

Repairs to the stadium's roof and the replacements of the giant screens inside the ground have already taken place, but fans will be hoping further upgrades to facilities could be on the cards.

It's believed conversations around expanding the Emirates' current 60,000-seat capacity have been mooted, as the club looks to keep up with the huge demand for tickets.
