Arsenal celebrate St Totteringham's Day for the first time in SEVEN seasons after the Gunners draw with Southampton at the Emirates meaning Spurs can no longer mathematically finish above Mikel Arteta's side

Arsenal celebrated St Totteringham's Day for the first time in sevens seasons as the Gunners drew 3-3 with Southampton at the Emirates Stadium.

Spurs have finished above their bitter rivals in the Premier League standings since the 2015/16 season.

However, the win leaves Mikel Arteta's side 22 points ahead of Spurs, meaning Tottenham can no longer mathematically finish above Arsenal.

Should Tottenham win all of their remaining games, Cristian Stellini's men can only finish on 74 points.

It is believed that the concept was introduced in 2002 when it appeared on the Arsenal fan website 'Arseweb.
