Mikel Arteta insists Arsenal’s recent improvement will not alter his January transfer window plans.
The Gunners have now won two games on the bounce to ease concerns the club were headed towards a relegation battle.
Arteta will target a creative midfielder once the market reopens on Friday, with Real Madrid’s Isco among the names being considered.

But the Gunners boss, who refused to comment on the prospect off signing Isco, insists the team’s recent resurgence will not impact on his plans.
He confirmed: ‘The last few results will not change our approach to the window.
