Alexis Sanchez's quarter of an hour cameo against Sutton United was not a risk, according to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
The forward was sent on in the 74th minute of the FA Cup fifth round tie with Arsenal already two goals ahead, which led to questions over Wenger's decision to use him.
And while Sanchez impressed in flashes, he had no impact on the final scoreline, with Arsenal running out 2-0 victors against their non-league opposition on Monday.
But the 67-year-old Frenchman believed there was little chance of Sanchez picking up an injury.
