Arsenal have held talks over a move for Swedish youth international striker Emil Roback.
However, Mikel Arteta's side will face competition from German giants Bayern Munich for the 16-year old who plays for Hammarby.
Roback, a Sweden U17 international, is quick and strong with a decent goal scoring record and has already visited Arsenal for a training spell and look around.
Hammarby sports director Jesper Jansson confirmed Arsenal's meeting and contact from Bayern for the striker who turns 17 in May. Jansson said: 'We were contacted and know about the interest.
