Arsenal 6-0 BATE Borisov: Jack Wilshere scores first Gunners goal since May 2015 as hosts record emphatic victory in final Europa League group game

Arsenal finished their Europa League group stage with an emphatic 6-0 victory against BATE Borisov on Thursday night at the Emirates.

There was a surprise scorer for the opening goal as Mathieu Debuchy put the Gunners ahead with an emphatic strike on the edge of the area in the 11th minute. And then Theo Walcott doubled Arsenal's lead on 36 minutes before Jack Wilshere added a third just moments later.

And Arsenal started the second half in similar fashion to the opening period as Dzyanis Palyakow put into his own net on 51 minutes before Olivier Giroud tucked home a penalty 13 minutes later.
