Lincoln City's FA Cup fairytale came to an end as Arsenal booked their place in a record 29th semi-final in the competition with an ultimately emphatic 5-0 win over the non-League side at the Emirates Stadium.
Nathan Arnold was denied by Petr Cech before Theo Walcott broke the deadlock on the stroke of half time with a compsed finish from Kieran Gibb's lay off.
Olivier Giroud doubled the Gunners' advantage, before a Luke Waterfall own goal, Alexis Sanchez curler and a nonchalant tap-in from Aaron Ramsey completed the scoring to ease the pressure on Arsene Wenger.
