Tuesday marked 24 years since we came from behind to beat Sheffield Wednesday in the 1993 League Cup final.
After John Harkes had given Wednesday an early lead, Paul Merson equalised with 20 minutes played, lashing a shot in from outside the area.
Having scored our first, Merson then played a big part in our winner. After darting to the byline, his cross was deflected into the path of Steve Morrow, who finished clinically from close range.
This win completed the first of a domestic Double - we went on to lift the FA Cup final after beating the same opposition less than a month later.
