Amadou Onana has put Chelsea and Arsenal on high alert over his interest in moving to 'one of the biggest clubs' just a year after joining Everton.
The Belgian midfielder was on the Blues' wishlist in January, as they considered ransacking the Toffees for players, but Onana reportedly turned them down amid a £50m asking price.
The 21-year-old joined Everton in August 2022 for £33m, but has now revealed in an interview his desire to use his short stint at Goodison Park as a stepping stone to bigger things.
When asked where he sees himself in five years time, Onana told French outlet SoFoot: 'I see myself having had a lot of life experiences, which will have made me learn a lot about human beings in general, as well as about myself.
