Alexandre Lacazette's strike in Arsenal's 4-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday brought about a significant milestone for French players at the Gunners.
The striker swept home to finish off an intricate passing move and in the process scored the 500th Premier League goal for Arsenal netted by a Frenchman.
The goal, which ended Lacazette's personal drought of nine matches, came just nine minutes after Laurent Koscielny had bundled home the 499th French goal for Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger's French revolution since taking over the north London club in 1996 has seen 21 different Gallic players score for Arsenal.
