Alexandre Lacazette has defended his Arsenal teammate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and believes criticism towards the Gunners' captain has been unfair.
Aubameyang was in superb form last season and led his side to FA Cup glory, earning himself a new three-year contract over the summer worth £350,000-a-week.
But the 31-year-old has not been at his best this campaign, with just nine Premier League goals to his name and criticism aimed at him for the performances he has produced.
However, fellow striker Lacazette has suggested Aubameyang is being judged harshly and people have been too quick to forget how good he was last year.
