Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain may have been the star of the show against Reading but for the winger the night belonged to Arsenal returnee Carl Jenkinson.
The right-back made his first appearance for the Gunners in 898 days as they beat The Royals 2-0 in the EFL Cup at the Emirates.
The 24-year-old, who last featured on the final day of the 2013/14 season, spent two spells on loan at West Ham before returning to the North London club only to suffer a serious knee injury in January.

And Oxlade -Chamberlain, who scored both goals in Tuesday's 2-0 victory, was clearly delighted to be playing alongside his long-time friend once again.
