Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain emerges as a target for Aston Villa, Newcastle and Brighton this summer... with the midfielder's Liverpool contract set to expire at the end of the season

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is emerging as a target for a trio of Premier League sides as the midfielder prepares to leave Liverpool.

The 29-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and there have been no talks with the Anfield club over a new deal.

Oxlade-Chamberlain, whose last appearance for the club came in the recent 1-0 Champions League loss at Real Madrid, will almost certainly leave Merseyside in the summer and rival clubs are keen on snapping him up.

Aston Villa, Newcastle and Brighton are among the clubs to have an early interest in the former Arsenal star leading into the summer transfer window.
