Mo Elneny played 86 minutes as Egypt beat Cameroon in a penalty shoot-out to seal their place in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations.
The hosts were largely on top for much of the game, and hit the post twice - through Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui and Samuel Gouet.
Liverpool's Mo Salah went closest for Egypt in the 90 minutes, firing just over the bar with one effort and then spurning a good opportunity from a loose backpass.
Elneny - who was booked - eventually made way for Ahmed Abdelmonem with four minutes remaining, and after the match remained goalless after extra time, it went to penalties.
