Eight young Arsenal players have been called up to represent England Women Under-17s for the October international break.
Going to the FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup in the Dominican Republic and captained by Laila Harbert, the squad includes:

- Sophie Harwood
- Niamh Peacock
- Cecily Wellesley-Smith
- Lalia Harbert
- Isabella Fisher
- Omotara Junaid
Laila was part of the squad for our pre-season tour in Washington after spending last season on loan at Watford.
England WU17 head coach Natalie Henderson said: “Playing in a World Cup, at any age, is a terrific experience for our young players, both on and off the pitch, and something we strive for within our pathway.
