WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's basketball team picked up its fifth win in a row, defeating St. Francis Brooklyn, 69-46, on Saturday afternoon at Christl Arena. Army also improved its home winning streak to 21 contests.
Army improves to 6-1 on the year after the victory, while St. Francis Brooklyn falls to 1-6.
Sophomore Madison Hovren finished with a game-high 17 points and 10 rebounds for her third straight double-double to led four Army scorers in double figures. Junior Janae McNeal reached double digits for the third game in a row and totaled 12 points, five assists and four steals, while classmates Destinee Morris and Lena' Hicks netted 11 points and 10 points, respectively.
