WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's basketball team is set to enter the Patriot League Tournament as the No. 1 seed in the field of 10 teams. This season is the third in which the Black Knights will occupy the top seed in the postseason tournament, after doing so in 2005-06 and 2012-13.
The Black Knights earned a share of the regular-season title after closing the year 16-0 and tying in first place with a 17-1 league record with Bucknell, which also finished 17-1. Army claims the No. 1 seed by holding a higher position that Bucknell in the College Basketball News RPI.
