WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's soccer team picked up a pair of weekly honors as senior Sydney Witham and sophomore Sydney Cassalia were recognized by the Patriot League for their performances.
Witham earned her second career weekly honor from the league as she was named the midfielder of the week, while Cassalia garnered her fourth weekly mention with her second straight goalkeeper of the week nod.
Witham's first-career goal snapped the team's 485:58 scoreless drought when she bent in a free kick from 20-yards out. The Crown Point, Ind.
