ALBANY, N.Y. – The Army West Point women's basketball team cut a 14-point deficit down to one point late in the fourth quarter in an eventual 65-59 setback against UAlbany on Wednesday evening at SEFCU Arena.
Army slips to 1-1 on the season, while UAlbany earns its first win to improve to 1-2.
Sophomore Madison Hovren led the Black Knights in scoring for the second game in a row, finishing with a game-high 19 points, while junior Aliyah Murray posted her second career double-double with a career-best 16 points and 11 boards.
