NEW YORK -- Senior defender Johnny Surdick of the Army West Point men's lacrosse team was voted a prestigious Tewaaraton Award Semifinalist, announced by the committee on Thursday.
Surdick is one of the 25 nominees up for the award across all three divisions.
The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States. The selection committees are made up of premier collegiate coaches and are appointed annually by The Tewaaraton Foundation.
