WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army West Point football team starts its training for the 2017 season on Tuesday afternoon in the first of 14 practices leading up to the spring game on April 15.
Head coach Jeff Monken leads the Black Knights into his fourth season at the helm. Army reached eight wins in 2016 for the first time in 20 years. The Black Knights won their first bowl game since 2010 and defeated Navy for the first time in 15 years.
Army will be holding its practices at Foley Athletic Center and Howze Field before convening at Michie Stadium for the spring game.
