WEST POINT, NY - No. 13 Army West Point women's lacrosse (9-0, 3-0 Patriot League) used five fourth quarter goals to take down Colgate (1-7, 0-2 Patriot League) from a rainy Michie Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Army outshot Colgate in every quarter, including 16-3 in the first frame and 10-4 in the fourth. The Black Knights fired ten or more shots in every quarter of the game.
Brigid Duffy and Julia Franzoni paced the Army offensive effort, each scoring three times while combining for 11 of Army's 15 draw controls. Lacey Bartholomay made 11 stops on 19 shots faced for the Black Knights, including four saves on five free-position attempts from the Raiders.
