TEANECK, N.J. – The Army West Point men's soccer team dropped a non-conference tilt to Fairleigh Dickinson, 2-1, on Monday night at University Stadium.
"For two straight games I think we did some excellent stuff," head coach Russell Payne said. "We've made plays that would help us win the games, but unfortunately we played two good teams to start the season that took advantage of some key opportunities. Our biggest challenge is to learn from these games and if we do, we're going to have a very good team moving forward."
Fairleigh Dickinson picked up its first win of the season and moved to 1-0-1 overall on the year, while the Black Knights dropped to 0-2 following the loss.
