WEST POINT, N.Y. – Sophomore Dalton MacAfee of the Army West Point hockey team has received Defender of the Week accolades from the Atlantic Hockey Association for the second time this season.
MacAfee recorded a team-leading three assists in the team's weekend sweep over Holy Cross. He finished +2 on the weekend and had two blocks.
The Needham, Mass., native dished out an assist on the opening goal Friday and added two on Saturday night including the game-winner. Saturday's game was his first multi-point game of his career at Army. MacAfee now totals 13 points on the year and a team-best of 42 blocks.
