WEST POINT, N.Y. – In the midst of their second consecutive year of training camp at West Point, the New York Knickerbockers of the National Basketball Association have continued to embrace life at the United States Military Academy.
The team, under the direction of second-year head coach Derek Fisher, arrived at West Point on Monday afternoon and conducted a team building session at the start of camp. Tuesday morning the Knicks visited the Arvin Cadet Physical Development Center where they witnessed combatives and boxing training, indoor obstacle course testing (IOCT) in Hayes Gymnasium, and aquatics and lifetime sport instruction at Crandall Pool, as well as cadet training in the Combat Water Survival Lab.
