WEST POINT, N.Y. – Army West Point men's gymnastics senior Jesse Glenn (Porter Ranch, Calif.), an all-around specialist, was named a finalist for the prestigious Nissen-Emery Award in Wednesday's announced by the College Gymnastics Association (CGA).
The highest honor in collegiate gymnastics, the Nissen-Emery award has been presented annually since 1966 to an outstanding senior collegiate gymnast based on his achievement, sportsmanship and academic excellence.
"This is a tremendous honor for not only Jesse, but West Point as well as our program," stated Van Everen. "It is a talented group of candidates for this coveted award, and when you think about it, he encompasses all that it stands for.
